My husband & I have been to this restaurant at least 10 times now & it's always a pleasant dining experience. The food is absolutely devine & the atmosphere is warm. By far the best Italian restaurant in the area! Just make sure you call ahead & make a reservation beforehand, they are always busy!
Update: Had dinner on a Sunday night. Delightful food as always with great service. Started with a Venetian Sunset and Lemon Lavender Gin Spritz. Had the usual TASTY garlic knots. The fabulous crab cakes were the starter, he has the delicious osso bucco and I had the pollo toscano "old school" with the lemon Chablis sauce and pollo served on the pasta. Excellent dinner. Update: had dinner here with my husband on a busy Saturday night. Service was great and the atmosphere was lively. We started with crab cakes (fabulous) and he enjoyed the osso buco (very tender) and I had the pollo toscano (THAT sauce!). Loved dinner. The garlic rolls are delightful. Please note that reservations are highly recommended. Great place. Amazing Italian food, good service, friendly employees, and nice atmosphere. Been here several times and never disappointed with the food. Also, they serve amazing garlic bread balls before dinner. Yum! A huge wine selection of varying price points and a nice bar to sit at if you don't want a table. Last time my husband and I had the arancini, osso bucco, and cheese ravioli. Everything was very good, served hot, and there was plenty of osso bucco to take home. We look forward to going back! This time I had the Pollo Toscano and he had the osso bucco. Both were excellent.
What an incredible restaurant! My new favorite Italian restaurant in Cleveland. I live in San Francisco, but my parents are in Cleveland and this is the third time I’ve been to this restaurant in the last three months. Highly recommended the food is outstanding and the service is wonderful. Bring an appetite as the portions are large and the garlic bread is to die for!
Cafe Tuscano is part of our normal restaurant rotation Seems we end up here once every two months or more. Our experience has been very consistent. Great food, great service and the bread is insane! It’s very small and get a bit loud. Make reservations.
visiting Cleveland for the first time and I must say, we were extremely fortunate to find this restaurant away from the downtown area in Aurora, approximately 20 min away by car. Found this establishment using google reviews and yes having advance reservations is strongly recommended. Ordering a meal from the bar is also an option. Fortunately when we arrived on a late Saturday afternoon, the hostess was gracious to find a table for two without a reservation. The atmosphere is so very quaint and the customer service is outstanding. If you mention it, they offer a military discount for Veterans. The food was delectable. The house rolls alone with the oil melts in your mouth. Appetizers are plentiful as we enjoyed the meatballs and eggplant stuffed with goat cheese. The ravioli with scallops and shrimp was scrumptious. Although we did not have enough room for dessert, we look forward to returning again the next time we are in the area!!
This small place but they seem to run tight ship managing the reservation and seating.. I had salmon. The dish comes with mash potatoes and brushell sprouts. Everything was good. Everyone in the group loved their dishes. Price was reasonable comparing similar places.
Great food, great service and good prices. The servers are attentive and willing to please. I can't get enough of the bread they serve and my favorite entree is the lobster ravioli with vodka cream sauce.
Last night was our first experience at this restaurant. I have always heard positive things. My mom and I both had Fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious. The rolls were also amazing. Our service was great as well. Overall it was a lovely dinner. The dining room is very small, but other than that..no complaints.
